Return To The Tratt

Lydia will be returning to the Tratt to get jiggy widdit again on the 28th, and for that I am thankful. Please be sure to reserve a table ahead of time for this one, as seating and tables were filled by 10:45. The Trattoria Roma in Grandview has online table reservations, so use it! Start with a martini and some dinner around 10pm, and just roll right into the show. Yay After-Party at The Tratt!

Tratt-Show Photos!

A great night at the Tratt usually begins with a martini.

The Tobins were already there, having a pre-show meal of wine and polenta..but mostly wine.

Mecca kicked off the night for us acoustically, and was great!

Another Tratt employee, Mr. Rokk, played the bread-bin drums for back-up percussion.

Lyd was up next, and blew it up pretty quickly with "Mingus Eyes." She and Jeff would rock the house for HOURS.

Jeff played harmonica like a mad-man, then sang his song "My Job Sucks."

Closing out the night (so we thought) for a couple of tunes was falsetto Jacob and friend. After this, it was free for all until just before dawn Sunday.

The place was packed, the bar was hoppin', and the only way anyone went home was to just start loading the equipment in the car.

Tratt owner Shawn even played along on the lolli-drum and shakers!

DAMN YOU PBR, CAN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE? Nope.

A triptych of Pakito...

MMMM...DINNER!

Jeff and Regina ready to go home!

Practice Night

A young student of the "Brownfield Method" waits in the wings at the Grandview Library.

Zach is chillin' in his Spidey costume showing you who his favorite songstress is.

Tonight is a much needed escape and practice night for Lyd. After weeks of hard work and no play, Lydia gets to seek the solitude of music for a couple of hours in the German Village domicile of the Tobins. Jeff's wife Regina is a mild mannered real estate agent by day, and a monster road cyclist by night.

NOV. 7TH AFTER-PARTY AT THE TRATT!!

O.K...so here's the deal. This is going to be so frikkin fun. Shawn at the Trattoria Roma in Grandview is going to have Lydia and Jeff come in on November the 7th..around 11pm..AFTER the dinner crowd is done. They will have a stage area set up inside the restaurant, and it will feature THREE local Indie singers! Lyd is headlining, and Shawn is doing a BIKE-RIDE special, $3 dollar Peroni Italian beers for those who ride in! Come for the late after-party show and enjoy some of their amazing drinks, like the Espresso
Martini, made with a hand-pulled fresh shot of espresso. FREAKISHLY good! I can't wait for this to get started, and it's in our 'hood, so we can actually WALK home if we need to!

We may need to.....

**Prior to the runners heading out, these guys blasted the course on some killer equipment.**

**"I smell bacon!" The fuzz was out en masse for the race, cordoning of streets and laying out cones. I said "cones."

**As the set drew to a close, hundred of runners had rounded the corner where they were playing.**

Lyd staring longingly at the PBR cans in the ice bucket.

The WGC crew does an amazing job here, so please FEED THE GEESE!

Lyd seen here preparing to wipe out the local turkey population with a blunderbuss.

Where else can you learn to breakdance while in the bathroom?

WGC events are brought to you by Pabst Blue Ribbon. Johnny Merry should rejoice.

Lyd pictured looking a lot like stand-up comedian in a show brochure.

WGC is just down the block from Rumba Cafe on Summit Street. Look for the mural o a two-headed Bambi and you are there!

"WHAT?" Lyd getting ready to get ready during soundcheck.

Jeff Tobin can play everything. Seriously. Everything.

Uhhh..I took that one of the jewelry? Yeah..the jewelry!

Next to Lydia's legs, even a mic stand looks fat.

I absolutely LOVE this picture. No reason..just love it.

PBR tall-boys! GO WGC! Thanks to PBR for sponsoring the shows here.

Silent partner Jeff Tobin is an indispensable part of Lydia's music. Great guy, very talented..and no crying!

Is having your name in chalk the same as having it in lights?

Jeff on keys..

Jeff on harmonica!

WTF and WGC?

This is how Lyd can stay married to a nerd.
